Role Description We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Podcast Coordinator for Beverage Trade Network’s podcast channels. This is a full-time on-site role for a Podcast Coordinator. The Podcast Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating podcast content, scheduling interviews, editing audio recordings, and promoting podcasts across various channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in guest recruitment, research, fact-checking, coordinating recordings, managing guest, post production podcast work. Reports to: CEO Key Responsibilities: Speaker Identification and Recruitment
- Identify potential podcast speakers and submit for approval.
- Recruit and coordinate with selected speakers based on the podcast plan.
- Schedule podcast sessions, ensuring availability of all participants.
- Collaborate with hosts and speakers to set relevant podcast topics
- Write and prepare podcast scripts for each episode and send them to the guest in advance.
- Conduct a Prep call with the guest 3 days before the podcast to ensure smooth communication and preparedness.
- Act as the podcast admin: manage queues, introduce speakers, handle technical issues, and ensure smooth podcast flow.
- Participate as a co-host when required and take on full hosting duties for select episodes.
- Thank the speaker post-podcast and upload the video into the AV (audio-visual) system with the script and other relevant details.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure the video is live on all platforms.
- Once the video is published, share it with judges and encourage reshares on social media.
- Provide content ideas and podcast scripts to the content team for article creation and written pieces.
- Work closely with the video team to create reels, short clips, and YouTube Shorts, including providing all necessary information for edits.
- Set up business calls with the podcast speaker and the host, facilitating further collaboration or partnerships.
- Support the marketing team and assist with selling and promoting BTN’s services.
- Be responsible for handling the entire podcast lifecycle: from speaker selection to post-production.
- Take on full hosting duties in selected podcasts instead of the main host.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Experience in audio-visual editing or podcast management tools is a plus.
- Confidence in co-hosting or hosting public discussions.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with speakers and other industry professionals.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in podcast production or a related field.
- Familiarity with podcasting platforms and tools like Zoom, SoundClud, Apple Podcasts, YouTube
