Workshop Manager - Head of Rewinding Department (Job Rewinding)
Job details
Responsibilities:Motor Overhaul: Proficiency in dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and rewinding various types of electric motors. This includes ensuring that all motors are refurbished to meet operational standards and safety regulations.Pump Services and Refurbishment: Handling different types of pumps such as centrifugal, progressive cavity, and positive displacement pumps. The manager is responsible for overseeing the complete refurbishment process from assessment to testing.Dynamic Balancing: Conducting dynamic balancing of rotating equipment to reduce vibration and ensure smooth operation.Transformer Refurbishment: Although not the primary focus, familiarity with transformer refurbishment adds value to this role, suggesting an ability to oversee or advise on such tasks when necessary.Minimum Requirements:An Electrical Engineering degree or a similar qualification.More than 5 years of experience.Must be South African-based and currently working in GCC countries within the industrial, manufacturing, or engineering workshop.Expertise in electrical and mechanical equipment.Ability to relocate to Qatar immediately.
