As part of our expansion plans, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager (Phytosanitary) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, developing, and coaching the assigned team members to ensure their success.What are you going to do? One of your main responsibilities will be to ensure sharing knowledge and experience, with a particular focus on the annual Great to Grow cycle, which is aimed at developing individuals and teams. In addition, you will lead the process of reviewing the global phytosanitary regulatory landscape and identifying key strategic priorities for Enza Zaden.We are seeking a candidate with affinity and experience with project management, who is energized by proactively identifying changes and trends and proposing solutions to ensure freedom to operate. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of regulatory compliance across the business. You will also be responsible for leading phytosanitary and trade barrier incident management, liaising with directors, senior managers, technical experts, functional departments, and other internal stakeholders.In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring market access on both a long-term (strategic) and tactical horizon. This will involve discussing regulatory barriers with external regulators and proposing alternative solutions. You will also prepare and provide regular progress reports to senior management on the impact of forthcoming or implemented regulatory changes.As Manager Regulatory Affairs, another responsibility will be to develop and maintain an external business network, and to support the sector by representing Enza Zaden in various external platforms at national, regional, and international levels. You will have 3 direct reports and you will report to the Global Manager Seed Regulatory Affairs and will have a significant impact on the company's success. We offer a challenging and rewarding work environment where you can develop your skills and advance your career in the regulatory affairs field.Your powerTo be successful in this role, you are able to work under pressure and are a knowledgeable discussion partner for the business.In short, you are or have:- A Master's degree and at least relevant work experience in e.g. Regulatory Affairs;- excellent interpersonal skills to connect to people at different job levels and in different cultures;- have strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem solving;- experience with project management is highly preferred- as the team leader, you set priorities and give clear directions to your team about which activities need to be undertaken;- can communicate fluently in English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing;- no problem with occasional international travel (less than 10% of your time).Our Power:Enza Zaden is a vegetable breeding company that develops vegetable varieties.
