Are you an experienced Accounting professional seeking an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations in a dynamic construction company? We have an excellent position for an Accounting Manager at our confidential construction firm based in the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities:

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial activities of our organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day accounting operations and supervising the accounting team.Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.Maintaining and enhancing the company's financial systems, policies, and procedures.Conducting regular financial analysis and providing valuable insights to the management.Handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and tax compliance.Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth audits.Implementing cost control measures and optimizing financial processes.Developing and implementing strategies to enhance financial efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.Proven experience (X+ years) in accounting and financial management, preferably within the construction industry or related sectors.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation in the UAE.Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of integrity.
