ChampionX has an immediate need for a Financial Accountant (12 months temporary position) to join our Finance team in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will assist towards Department and Company goals while taking ownership of all daily, monthly, and annual finance tasks assigned to you. You will report to the Senior Manager Finance.What's in it For You:The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth.The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best.Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture and empowers its employees through continuous improvement.Access to Employee Resource Groups (ERG's) that allow employees to come together to explore common interests and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.Access to multiple knowledge sharing platforms to enhance collaboration and engagement.What You Will Do:Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and support the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve safety, health, and environmental performance.Support and commit to the Quality Improvement Process, ensuring error-free work.Complete the month-end closure procedures and activities.Coordinate with all stakeholders to complete books of accounts (local as well as US GAAP), reconcile, and report as per corporate requirements.Manage day-to-day Accounting and bookkeeping.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliation on a monthly basis.Manage VAT/WHT/Payroll Tax filings and monitor other taxation requirements.Support in ensuring Internal Controls are implemented and perform self-assessment.Prepare monthly management accounts reporting with all backups, balance sheet reconciliation, monthly P&L trend analysis, and variance analysis.Manage working capital focusing on DSO and DPO, preparing weekly/monthly/quarterly cash flows.Handle Accounts payable and other day-to-day accounting activities.Perform intercompany balance reconciliation and timely settlement.Support US GAAP Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting.Facilitate Internal and External audits.Support the implementation of company policies and procedures.Work ethically to ensure compliance with all local, national, and international legislation.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and develop knowledge in Close Consolidation and Financial Administration.Support office administration activities when required.Minimum Education and Experience:Professional qualifications desired (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent or part qualified) with outstanding communication skills.5 years' experience in a similar Accounting/Finance and Audit role.Hands-on attitude and able to prioritize work to meet company objectives.Maintain Internal/SOX controls while performing day-to-day duties.Result-oriented and supporter of accounting and finance best practices.A positive attitude is paramount.Proficient in using Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel).Preferred Experience:SAP experience preferred.Conversion from US GAAP to IFRS or vice versa.Advanced MS Office skills.About ChampionX:ChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
