Position:
Originatorz is seeking a highly skilled and insightful Data Scientist to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of data analysis and pattern recognition, with a specific focus on utilizing this expertise to predict dropout rates in our educational software. We are primarily interested in leveraging Azure AI to decipher patterns in our extensive data collection, but we are also open to exploring other AI tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret complex datasets spanning 15 years, encompassing educational data such as achievement rates, program progress milestones, and socioeconomic factors.
Develop and implement robust models to predict learner dropout risks, utilizing Azure AI and other advanced analytical tools.
Work closely with the R&D department to understand data requirements and ensure that the data science solutions align with organizational goals.
Design and construct data pipelines to efficiently process and analyze large volumes of data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science findings and recommendations into the broader organizational strategy.
Continuously monitor and refine predictive models to improve accuracy and effectiveness over time.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies to ensure that Originatorz remains at the cutting edge of educational data analytics.
Required Skills:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an ETL and/or Data Science Engineer.
Profound understanding of data warehouse concepts and structures.
Prior experience in the education sector is highly beneficial.
Expertise in cloud technology, particularly Azure AI.
Proven ability to construct and manage data pipelines.
Fluency in English with advanced communication skills.
Familiarity with Databricks and advanced SQL knowledge.
