Job Title: Materials and Warehouse ManagerReporting Line: Commercial Project ManagerDivision: MobilityBusiness Unit: Customer ServiceLocation: Site Based, DohaContract type: PermanentSchedule type: Full TimeSafety Status: Non-SafetyGoals/Mission: Manages the flow for all materials, equipment, goods, supplies, etc., from suppliers. Manage all logistics associated with the import and export of goods, services, suppliers, equipment related to materials, transportation and storage. Responsible for logistic administration, monitors contractual obligations for compliance. Continuously reviews the requirements for each department with the relevant department head for purchasing materials. Coordinate and control the planning and ordering of Min/Max functions within the CMMS. To provide inventory control and order book management for the business and ensure that materials of the required standard are available at the production facility to meet the requirements of Maintenance & Operations contract.Role Overview: Responsible for all warehousing, material control and associated matters including logistics (import/export) and support the SCM in procurement topics.What are my responsibilities:Maintain and operate the warehousing and associated storage areas to the highest safety standards expected by Siemens.Communicate health and safety responsibilities to your team.Ensure all materials staff are trained and certified to carry out their duties.Responsible for any warranty related topics when we have received substandard materials, goods, supplies etc from our suppliers.Develop relationships and processes with all internal and external customers to meet our requirements.Ensure that all records are kept accurate within the CMMS (CorMap) to aid the re-ordering process and our KPI's are met.Materials planning & scheduling both short (PPM, mods, campaigns) and long term (Overhaul) material requirements; bill of material preparation, verifying requirements, new float and obsolescence management.Manage the materials change control process in respect of engineering changes and/or modification.Provide general materials engineering support/problem solving to aid procurement department/SCM.Review any material that requires to be robbed from components and ensure proactively no unit/system is stopped due to waiting material.Supervision and coordination of staff engaged in store activities and compilation and maintenance of records of supply transactions.Responsible for maintenance of spares.Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness within the storage and workshop areas including COSHH and dangerous goods storage.Ensuring the calibration & certification of plant equipment, tools and instruments to support all O+M activities with the depot and workshop areas.Maintain material records & preparation of reports (KPI related).Supervise and assist the receiving and issuing of stock.Supervise and handle day to day material movement tasks.Optimizing material requirements for each department. Plan and forecast material spend and deliver to budget, subject to planned maintenance requirements. Compliance to project budget.This role profile may vary from time to time in accordance with changes to business needs. Your annual objective setting with your line manager will outline any additional responsibilities to meet business requirements or individual development needs for the forthcoming financial year.What do I need to qualify for this job:Experience using Microsoft office tools.Maintenance management system experience (maximo, equinox etc).Is in good physical condition.Is 30 years or above.Meets requirements of fitness class 3.Has a Degree/Diploma or equivalent Engineering background and 5+ years of work experience in materials/procurement/contractual/management positions.Detailed knowledge of procurement processes, contract law and conditions.Import, export and control experience.Experience in the field of warehouse & materials management or higher.Experience in a managerial or team leadership function.Has a good command of both the spoken and written English language.Desired skills:Team player.Results oriented.Attention to detail.Customer focused.Professional manner.Business Competence.Communication skills.How do I apply?We are looking forward to receiving your online application.
