Position Overview:
Our client is an established SaaS platform focused on B2B sales for the construction and skilled trades industry. Their platform gives owner-managers the ability to streamline quoting, invoicing, and pricing components accurately and consistently. The organization is highly entrepreneurial and has become a substantive player within the space. They are currently seeking a Director of Sales to grow their clients and customer subscription base. This position will manage the complete sales cycle process, including prospecting, initial sales calls, evaluation, software demonstration, RFP, and closing of the sale. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be an experienced Sales Executive with a "hunter" mindset and a proven conversion rate to lead their sales pipeline. They will be responsible for generating new accounts to drive revenue growth for the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, self-motivated sales professional who is experienced with SaaS products and is looking to join a highly entrepreneurial and dynamic startup at the ground floor.
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver sales presentations to clients and prospects highlighting the value proposition of the SaaS solutions.
Present software demos to prospective customers.
Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of deals.
Engage and qualify new leads.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects.
Conduct ongoing research to identify new leads - decision makers, contact information, interest and level of urgency.
Analyze sales data and provide insights to senior management.
Collect customer feedback to determine product and service shortfalls.
Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of sales experience preferably in a SaaS and B2B environment.
Independent personality that will thrive in an entrepreneurial setting.
Experience with Construction/Skilled Trades sales is an asset.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in strategizing for engaging and selling products to customers.
Please note that at present, legal eligibility to work in Canada is a prerequisite for this role.
