Job Title: Associate Consultant /Consultant Location: Chandigarh Overview: KPMG in India has one of the leading food and agribusiness consulting practices offering a wide range of services to private enterprises, State governments, PSUs, Central government institutions and international donor organizations. The services encompass the overall spectrum from strategizing to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, market led interventions and co creating an enabling ecosystem and unlocking value for our clients within the Agri and allied sectors Our focus lies in providing apt and well-timed solutions to our clients despite the dynamic and heterogenous nature of the sector. With 100+ professionals having a significant and hands on experience across agriculture and allied value chains including but not limited to horticulture, dairy and animal husbandry, aquaculture, poultry, and a footprint in 10+ states and central government departments in India. The team is seeking an experienced professionals with exceptional interpersonal and technical skills that may include policy-based analysis, knowledge of trade, agricultural policies and economics. The candidate should be able to drive and support the agenda of Agri and Allied Services practice of the firm both in India and globally and should have a deep technical understanding of the subject The Individual Should have 3-6 years of work experience, with exposure in any of the following: ● Experience with MySQL and MSSQL ● Basic understanding of disaster recovery and database backup procedures ● Familiarity with reporting tools ● PostgreSQL certification preferred ● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance ● Certificate in Database Administration will be preferred Responsibilties 1. Installing and configuring database management systems (DBMS) software. 2. Creating and managing users and user roles with appropriate permissions. 3. Monitoring database performance and optimizing query execution for efficiency. 4. Ensuring data integrity and security through regular backups, data encryption, and access controls. 5. Planning and implementing database upgrades and patches. 6. Troubleshooting database issues and performing root cause analysis. 7. Collaborating with IT teams and developers to design and implement database solutions. 8. Developing and implementing data migration strategies when necessary. 9. Documenting database architecture, processes, and procedures. 10. Staying informed about industry trends and best practices related to database management Should be good at report writing, data analysis, working on excel and PowerPoint presentations with excellent communication skills. Qualification

  1. M.E./ M.Tech or B.E./ B.Tech. in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Electronics engineering or M.C.A.
