We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Primary Objectives / ResponsibilitiesTechnical CompetencySupports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.Deliver Civil Structural discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.Apply recognised offshore / onshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design engineering.Checking of drawings / models and maintaining quality of deliverables.Project ExecutionKnows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability.Initiate, design and drafting assignments on projects requirements on time and within budget.Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and the client's requirements.Competent with the project estimating process and can input design deliverables into estimating module.Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares analyses, calculations, etc.Assists with recommendations and helps create final documentation.Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues internal authorization.Ensuring technical integrity of the Civil Structural deliverables through the implementation of checking and design review activities.Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as: ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes; if required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions; prepare engineering drawings and documentation; ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures; and participate in project reviews as required.Site SupportSeeks input from knowledgeable sources, participates in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews, and incorporates requirements into design.Work with site personnel to resolve issues.Create plans or documents that support construction, testing, commissioning, operations, maintenance, or decommissioning.May provide on-site support for construction, commissioning, or turn over.Worley, Vision, Purpose & ValuesUnderstands and communicates Worley's Vision, Purpose & Values and translates the strategy into practical goals and objectives for self and team members.Quality AssuranceWork within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.SafetyResponsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures.Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice.Job Specific KnowledgePersonnel shall have the specified minimum project experience in mainly Oil & Gas/refinery or petrochemicals and shall be knowledgeable of the applicable Engineering codes and standards.Preparation of drawings for the concrete and steel structures using softwares like ACAD/PDMS/PDS and Microstation.Preparation of reinforcement detail drawings for the concrete structures.Preparation of site grading drawings.Interaction with other department for clarifications on information relevant to drawing undertaken.Maintaining records of drawings and other documents as assigned by the Discipline Manager/lead/Senior Engineer.Estimation of concrete and structural steel quantities of respective drawings.3-D modelling of structures using PDMS/PDS.Extraction of drawings from 3-D model.Competent in the use of 2D & 3D software and developing skills in design software.Specialized knowledge in the preparation of Civil / Structural deliverables including drawings, sketches, diagrams, lists, 3D models, MTOs, schedules, registers etc. in compliance with the Basis of Design.Relating and NetworkingRelates well to people at all levels.Establishes good relationships within and outside team.Uses a range of interpersonal skills to effectively engage with people across the organisation.Applying Expertise & TechnologyUses technology to achieve work objectives.Develops job knowledge and expertise through continual professional development.Demonstrates an understanding of different organisational departments and functions.Planning and OrganisingManages own time and own processes effectively and sets own work priorities.Prioritises what needs to be done and has a sense of urgency about achieving outcomes.Works with minimum supervision and is able to work to schedule, usually completes work on time.Delivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsTakes responsibility for customer satisfaction and solving customer problems/issues.Understanding the types and the nature of the work we have across projects and the capabilities required for different types of projects.Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Worley and its clients' needs.Able to identify issues, problems and opportunities;
