Description:- Provides medical care in the field of speciality and as requested by the Consultant in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and the Center policies and proceduresResponsibilities:- Applies medical techniques and principles under the direction of consultant and deals with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement.Informs Consultant about any problems or discrepancies that might arise.Complies strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards.Provides required patient care and management in the field of specialty, in accordance with standards of medical care laid down by the Center, as requested by the Consultant. Studies and performs assessment, examination, and the compilation of a case history. Registers detailed medical history, conducts a thorough physical examination, and creates a plan for patient management and follows-up for discussion with the Consultant. Subsequently, records the Consultants orders, progress notes and other required documents for outpatients.Provides on-call coverage for their specialty on a rotational basis during evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.Prepares for and participates in tumor board as well ward rounds as per policy and documents findings in medical records.Follows up on investigation results for outpatients and modifies treatment accordingly.Attends specialty clinics, outpatient clinics, and shares on on-call schedule as per requirements.Performs any other clinical responsibilities, as assigned.Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) to patients including operating specific equipment and other diagnostic procedures for all patients as requested and ensure availability of images with required information in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and the Radiology Information System (RIS) immediately after completing the procedure according to departmental protocols and standards.Responsible for safe handling of equipment and related accessories intended for Nuclear Medicine services. Follow established Radiation Protection measures for themselves, patients, other staff and the population in general. Follow safety orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation. Fully inform patients and/or relatives as to the nature of the procedure to be performed. Ensure correct patient identification and site verification checks are undertaken for each examination.Ensure all applicable licenses and /or training are maintained current. Ensure all staff follow established International Patient Safety goals.Maintaining proper logbooks of radio-active materials as well as maintaining the radio-active waste roomRequirements:- Medical degree and board certification in nuclear medicine10 years of experience in a nuclear medicinefield and Minimum 5 years KSA.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and supportive approach to patient care.Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.BLS certified MOH regestration and SCFHS licence
