Responsibilities/Skillsets:A structural draftsman specializing in steel structures has a range of responsibilities and duties. Here are some key ones:Creating Technical Drawings: Using Software like AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed structural drawings for steel structures including anchorage and steel connection detailing.Collaborating with Engineers and Architects: Working closely with engineers and architects to incorporate their calculations and specifications into the drawings.Revising and Updating Drawings: Making necessary changes to designs and ensuring that all drawings conform to the required specifications.Preparing Construction Documents: Drafting detailed reports, extracting BOQ's from Revit.Quality Assurance: Checking and verifying drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.Requirements:Educational Background: An associate ITI or diploma in civil engineering.Experience: 3 years & above in steel structure design. Certification: Relevant certifications like BIM (Building Information Modelling) can be beneficial.Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail in creating and revising technical drawings.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with engineers and other team members.* While we carefully review all applications, only candidates meeting the specified requirements will be contacted for further consideration.
