Job details

Duties & Responsibilities: • Treat sick or injuredanimals by prescribing medication, dressing wounds, performing surgery, andsetting bones. • Educate the public aboutdiseases and infections that are transferable from animals to humans. • Promote the health andwellness of animals by advising company management about sanitation measures,feeding and general care. • Record actions bydocumenting and updating forms, reports, animal records and reporting diseasesto public health officials. • Ensure compliance withveterinary procedures, ethics, policies, and relevant statutes. • Establish or carry outquarantine or testing procedures that combat the spread of diseases to humansor to other animals according to established government regulations. • Euthaniseanimals in situations they see fit such as in the case of a terminal illness.
