Health and Safety Advisor Excel are partnering with a leading Irish Utilities/Engineering company in hiring an Health & Safety Advisor to be based on their Water/Drainage contract in West Dublin. This is a permanent position with the successful candidate having over 2-3 years of experience as a Health and Safety Advisor on active construction or utilities sites. Key Responsibilities for Health & Safety Advisor: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all active construction and utilities sites. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure safety protocols are followed. Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to site teams and management. Lead accident and incident investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and implementation of preventative measures. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to develop and implement site-specific safety plans. Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel, ensuring a strong safety culture is maintained. Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement. Stay updated on relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices, ensuring compliance across all projects. Requirements for Health & Safety Advisor: 2-3 years of experience as a Health and Safety Advisor on active construction or utilities sites. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage site teams. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively. Full clean driving license.
