Our clients Life Science and Data Centre Division is currently seeking a Health & Safety Advisor in Dublin, offering a competitive rate and package. They are open to a contract position or taking on the right applicant permanently. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in health and safety, particularly within the construction and data center sectors, who are looking to make a significant impact in their role. Skills and Experience: Provide industry-leading advice to project stakeholders. Conduct audits and inspections of workplaces as directed by the BU HSE Manager. Attend sites after accidents or incidents, assist in investigations, and lead them if the Project Director or HSE Manager is unavailable. Communicate with enforcement authorities during site investigations. Assist the HSE Manager in preparing Health and Safety reports for the BU MD. Notify the HSE Manager of any potential gaps in Health and Safety cover. Aid tender and prequalification teams with Health and Safety concerns and practical solutions. Provide necessary training to site personnel. Stay updated on critical legislative changes and best practices to offer competent advice. Ideal Applicant: At least 3 years as a Health and Safety professional, with a minimum of 3 years in the construction industry; experience in pharma or datacenters is advantageous. Tech IOSH. NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent. NVQ Level 4 / EQF Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Training in Temporary Works, Incident Investigation, and relevant local PD/CDM & PSDP/PSCS standards.
