Senior Sap Finance Control Consultant

Job Title: SAP Consultant – Finance/Controlling Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 Months Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with a strong focus on Finance and Controlling (FI-CO) to join our remote team in India. This role will require candidates to work during standard business hours in India, closely collaborating with our US team based in India. Ideal candidates should be available to start as soon as possible for a contract period of 3 to 6 months. Required Skills and Experience: Experience: 5-7 years of SAP FI-CO experience with multiple implementation projects. Configuration Knowledge: Hands-on experience with both ECC and S/4 configuration, specifically with General Ledger elements, Account Groups, Document Splitting, and Account Determination. Financial Close Process: Thorough understanding of the financial close process in ECC and S/4, including posting periods, intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency valuation, account clearing, and balance carryforward. Controlling Knowledge: Experience with General Controlling, Cost Element Accounting, account assignments, substitutions, and periodic allocations in both ECC and S/4. Profit Center Accounting: Understanding of Profit Center Accounting, including profit center grouping/hierarchies, derivation, and substitution. Functional Design Specifications: Proficient in creating and reviewing functional design specifications for custom enhancements and system integrations. Additional Finance Solutions: Experience with other finance solutions, particularly SaaS applications, is desirable.
