We are seeking a Tour Specialist for a permanent role based in Simonstown, Western Cape. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in inbound travel with a relevant degree.
- Good knowledge of Excel and other programs for the travel industry.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Driver's license.
- Resident in Simon's Town or Southern Peninsula, Cape Town.
- Client base is mainly in Poland - knowledge of Polish language will be an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of inbound booking, costing and handling procedures; marketing and sales experience necessary.
- Preparing itineraries and costing of our tours in Southern Africa for individual tourists and groups.
- Handling tours in RSA, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Madagascar.
- Preparing and costing individual, tailor-made tour programs for small and larger groups.
- Making reservations for accommodation, transport, events, safaris, air tickets, and negotiating special rates with service providers.
- Rendering marketing services for the company on social media, Google, and directly with various Tour Operators abroad.
