Responsible for supporting the manufacturing team with daily operational activities related to both project and non-project activities.

Your responsibilities will be to:

Receive inventory, store goods in proper inventory location, maintaining an orderly and efficient storeroom.

Maintain Min/Max inventory levels.

Unload, inspect and receive (or reject) all inbound deliveries; manage and maintain all documentation and records related to shipping.

Kitting of project level goods both Electrical/mechanical for build.

Generation of reports for build capability and status.

Management and allocation of project leftovers.

Shipping arrangements for cell delivery, supplier shipments and various request plant/plant.

Inventory management for non-vendor managed items related to build, ordering, tracking, transferring to and from projects in CMS and cycle counts may be required.

Management of AGC specific operational needs.

Support manufacturing team at administrative level, includes but not limited to, Planning, Scheduling, Reports.

In person attendance for project based meetings.

Accept and direct visitors, General inquiries as required.

Maintain vendor Managed inventory and stocking where appropriate.

Special projects for cost reductions both self-generated and assigned.

Processes incorrect or damaged items; support to coordinate all outbound return shipments.

Deal with discrepancies (non-supplied, under orders, over orders).

Produce and maintain all required reports and documentation.

Primary contact for facilities/outside services (ie. landlord, office supplies, contractors etc.).

Primary contact for service calls.

Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform other related duties as required.

Our requirements:

College graduate or relevant work experience, preferably manufacturing.

Previous purchasing and/or project planning experience a must, preferably in the automotive industry supporting Automation.

Background in project management desired.

Basic understanding of mechanical drawings/models using CAD or SolidWorks.

Possess a high attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate purchasing responsibilities.

Excellent communication skills required along with good interpersonal and proven organizational abilities.

Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.

Excellent negotiation skills.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.

Proficient with Microsoft Office platform, knowledge of Questica, CMS and ERP, MS Project considered an asset.
