AKU expects all employees/trainees and partners to share this commitment.Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Specialist in the Department of Continuing Professional Education (DCPE).Responsibilities:You will be responsible to produce creative designs and concepts for academic courses including orientation/promotional video films and 2D/3D animations.Specifically, you will be responsible for:Meeting with faculty to determine the scope of the workshop/course and propose strategies on how to reach the desired audience.

Providing creative concepts to develop educational and research material.

Developing creative designs for teaching, training, research, marketing campaigns, and presentations.

Producing 2D/3D animations of medical illustrations and for other teaching content.

Organising the production of color laser prints and large format color plotter prints.

Supporting faculty in creating and/or producing multimedia presentations/assignments.

Maintaining the inventory of the digital design section.

Creating event pages for all DCPE activities.Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You should have:A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Media Sciences or in a related field; Masters will be preferred.

A minimum of four to five years of experience in multimedia production.

Creativity with an aesthetic eye for designs and video compositions.

Strong knowledge of multimedia design techniques.

Command over multimedia applications such as Adobe suite, Final Cut Pro, and Sony software collections.

Sound knowledge of printing and pre-press procedures.

Ability to work in high pressure situations.

Good communication and public dealing skills.
