Sap Finance Control Consultant

Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant Job Nature: Permanent Relevant Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in SAP Finance and Controlling, including project management and debugging. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support and manage three landscapes, including two in S/4 HANA and one in ECC. The role involves handling various finance and controlling functions, managing finance projects, and ensuring effective integration across modules. The consultant will be responsible for providing expertise in SAP FICO, including both ECC and S/4 HANA environments, and working in a flexible time zone setup. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support for SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting.
• Develop and manage Controlling (CO) functionalities such as COPA, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Oversee and support cross-module integration with Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production, and Maintenance.
• Manage small finance projects (3 to 6 months), understanding project phases, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Utilize and configure FIORI FICO apps, create CDS views, and configure FIORI tiles.
• Perform ABAP debugging as needed to resolve issues.
• Report on project status, maintain risk registers, and prepare steering committee reports.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
• Adapt to flexible working hours in the CET time zone.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (COPA, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders) with deep knowledge of product costing.
• Expertise in cross-module integration, including Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production, and Maintenance.
• Skilled in managing small finance projects (3 to 6 months) with a solid understanding of project phases and dependencies.
• Familiarity with Credit Management (ECC) and FSCM (S/4 HANA) is an advantage.
• Experience in integrating with Treasury portals.
• Extensive experience in using FIORI FICO apps.
• Proficiency in creating CDS views and configuring FIORI tiles is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP debugging.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
• Experienced in project reporting, including preparing weekly status reports, maintaining risk registers, and creating steering committee reports.
• Flexibility to work in CET time zone.

Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. SAP certifications in FICO are preferred. Industry Experience: Experience in finance and controlling within diverse industries, with a preference for roles involving managed services and large-scale SAP implementations. Work Location: Currently remote, with potential for hybrid work from office locations in Pune, Noida, Kolkata. Notice Period: 1 to 3 months Time Zone: Selected candidates are required to work as per Central European Time (CET) / India Standard Time (IST).
