Role Summary: As an analyst, you'll be engaged in conducting transmission and grid planning studies for different Indian states and globally. This role provides a chance to contribute to integrating renewable energy sources into transmission networks. Additionally, you'll lead efforts in planning to integrate other clean energy technologies into distribution networks. Key Tasks & Accountability:
- Conduct cutting-edge research on integrated electrical grid systems.
- Execute power system planning studies (generation, transmission, and distribution network).
- Collection of data pertaining to the grid planning and optimisation.
- BE/ME in the relevant field (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Power Systems)
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in executing transmission and distribution planning studies in renewable energy sector.
- Awareness of power systems modelling paradigms across both transmission and distribution—e.g. capacity expansion, production cost, hosting capacity, integrated volt/var control, stability assessment, dynamics, transient, balanced and multi-phase power flow, etc.
- Proficiency with power systems engineering concepts across both transmission and distribution systems.
- Familiarity with various energy regulatory environments/jurisdictions and their impacts on grid planning and operations
- Proficiency on grid simulation software like PSSE, ETAP or Gridlab-D
- A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- A self-motivator and a collaborative team player.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary.
