What is Legal Counsel - Contracts?
Legal Counsel - Contracts provides dedicated legal support to relevant business and support functions as part of the Contracts team in the Legal Affairs department. This entails consultation, advice, contract review and negotiation in line with the organization's internal values, policies, procedures and applicable law. The role is responsible for both day-to-day operational activities as well as any strategic initiatives and projects pertaining to the relevant functional department, and requires collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
The role reports directly to Sr. Legal Counsel.
What does Legal Counsel - Contracts do?
Independently drafts and reviews contracts, engages with internal stakeholders, negotiates directly with counterparties, and seeks mutual agreement accordingly.
Requirements
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Legal Counsel - Contracts?
Bar at Law/LLM/LLB Degree with at least two (2) years working experience required prior to career break, in an in-house legal team or law firm.
At least 1.5 years career break.
Knowledge of contract, corporate, and intellectual property laws. Knowledge of telecommunication laws is a plus.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and ability to research.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in stakeholder management.#J-18808-Ljbffr
