Security Compliance Analyst (Part time, Remote)

Job type:Part-timeJob timings:Mon - Fri (8AM - 1 PM US Pacific time Zone)Experience Required:6+ years of experience in Security Compliance or a related fieldThe Security Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in upholding and enhancing the security posture by assisting in SOC audits, responding to customer security questionnaires, overseeing security scans and penetration tests, and ensuring timely remediation of vulnerabilities. This role is primarily focused on governance and compliance to help maintain the Company's commitment to security excellence.Key Responsibilities:Security Audits:Assist in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Customer Security Questionnaires:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete security questionnaires requested by customers. Provide accurate and detailed responses to demonstrate the Company's commitment to security.Vulnerability Management:Oversee vulnerability scanning activities, including penetration tests and regular vulnerability scans, to identify weaknesses in Company's systems and infrastructure.Remediation Management:Work closely with IT, Dev, and security teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities, tracking progress, and verifying that vulnerabilities are resolved satisfactorily.Compliance Documentation:Maintain and update security compliance documentation, evidences, policies, procedures, and reports as necessary to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Security Awareness:Promote a culture of security awareness across the organization, educating team members on security policies and best practices.Reporting:Generate and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting areas of concern and progress toward security goals.Continuous Improvement:Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and changes in security regulations to ensure that the organization remains compliant and secure.Requirements:
