Performs duties inherent with the operation and maintenance of the installation network, to include Network Administration, Systems Administration, Service Desk, Cyber Security, ADPE and Hardware/Software Maintenance, Outside Plant, Inside Plant, Technical Control Facility, CS-1000, VTC, and Telephone Switch Operations. Maintains liaison with other personnel and agencies required to support the installation network. Responsible for the administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of all infrastructure equipment and the activities of all personnel assigned to the various sections. Establishes work schedules, maintains good order and discipline and ensures all personnel are properly trained to perform assigned tasks. Also, in the absence of the Site Manager, performs Site Manager Duties. Program: OMDAC-SWACA. This position offers company-paid housing and transportation, a completion bonus, and tuition reimbursement program! You must satisfy all host country requirements to legally work in the host country in order to be qualified for this position. Responsibilities
- Provides aids in design and analysis of communications systems and assists the Site Manager in engineering and design for local services and reviews all recommended equipment.
- Ensures that all personnel are scheduled and available to perform in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Reports all outages and corrective actions per locally defined procedures (such as local Signal Company, RNOSC, Area Manager, Operations Cell, etc.)
- Ensures that all networks are proactively monitored for availability and reliability using Government-furnished network monitoring utilities.
- Develops and provides required reports and documentation.
- Provides direct communication and coordination with associated military counterparts (such as OICs and NCOICs) to facilitate mission support.
- Coordinates equipment and resources, when required, to ensure technicians can perform their respective duties.
- Responsible for understanding and implementing the tools and techniques outlined in the Vectrus Leadership Guide and ensuring work center leads do the same.
- Ensures Government and MA, Safety, and technical training programs are implemented to all personnel.
- Enforces company policy, provides mentoring and feedback to personnel, documents substandard behavior and performance. Recommends personnel actions to include re-contracts, promotions, demotions, and terminations.
- Attends and prepares for meetings as required.
- Working environment will be 90% office environment/indoors, and 10% outside.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- This position requires candidates to adhere to DoDD 8140.01. All candidates are required to maintain at least one (1) baseline certification and one (1) computing environment (CE) certification. Baseline certifications cannot also be used as a Computing Environment (CE) certification. The authorized certifications for this job title are listed as follows:
