Transport Associate

Our client, a transport and logistics company, is looking for a Transport Associate to join their team in the Kraaifontein area.Key Roles & Responsibilities:1: Transporter Cold calling:As a Transport Associate for our client, your primary responsibility will be cold calling potential transport companies to offer them a subcontractor role within our client's network.-This will involve conducting conversational questionnaires with transporters to gather comprehensive information about their capabilities and interests, as well as to initiate the relationship-building process. -All data collected during these conversations will be meticulously recorded in our client's data management system. This data will then be utilized by our client's logistics coordinators to match the right transport company with the load opportunities available, ensuring efficient and effective transportation services.2: Transporter Onboarding:As a Transport Associate for our client, you'll be responsible for onboarding contacted transport companies to become certified subcontractors for our client's platform. -This involves initiating the process by sending an onboarding email containing a request for the necessary paperwork such as a credit application, Goods in Transit (GIT) documentation, and bank confirmation letters. -Additionally, you'll be tasked with creating and managing transporter WhatsApp groups and accounts on our client's platform. Ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between our client's platform and our client's network of transporters. Your communication skills will be essential in facilitating a smooth onboarding process and maintaining strong relationships with our client's transporters.3: Transporter training & support:As a Transport Associate for our client, you'll play a vital role in training and assisting transporters with our client's platform,- Your responsibilities will include providing swift training sessions to transporters on how to effectively utilize the platform. -This training will cover various aspects such as assigning assets to active trips, updating trip statuses to a state of completion and uploading relevant Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and invoices to specific trips. -Your expertise and guidance will allow transporters to efficiently navigate and utilize our client's platform, ensuring smooth operations and timely payments to transporters and outgoing invoices to our client's network of shippers.-Continuous monitoring of our client's platform to ensure that transporters adhere to completing trips and uploading documentation will also be a vital part of your job.The position in based in their head office.Location: KraaifonteinSalary: R18 000-R28 000 depending on experienceStarting date: As soon as possible.  Please apply online if you meet the above-mentioned requirements.Please assume that your application was unsuccessful If you have not been contacted within 4 weeks.
