Senior Software Full Stack Engineer

We're on a mission to enable brands, retailers, and retail channel partners to gather intelligence and automate actions to optimize in-store and online pricing, marketing, and operations initiatives. Our Commerce Execution Suite is available globally. Job Description Location of Job: Remote- India Our goal is to solve a messy problem elegantly and cost effectively. Our job is to collect, categorize, and analyze lots of semi-structured data from lots of various places (10,000+ retail stores across the US and Canada every week). We help our customers be more competitive and make more money by discovering interesting patterns in this data they can use to their advantage. We are looking for a software engineer to work on our crowdsourcing-based mobile applications and related services. We have an ambitious vision to enable the next level of growth of our SaaS platform and are looking for a key team member to drive that transformation. In this role you will join an engineering team focused on maximizing the productivity of our crowd members, increasing their engagement, and reducing the cost of acquisition. TECHNOLOGIES WE USE

• Back-end: Kotlin (JVM), Spring Boot, JUnit, GraphQL
• Databases: MongoDB, Postgres
• Front-end: React, Redux
• Mobile: React-Native, Redux. Expo
• Infrastructure: AWS + Terraform

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience
• Strong coding background in multiple languages including backend and frontend technologies
• Experience in Java/server-side Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Experience with React/Redux
• Experience with data modelling in SQL and noSQL databases
• Experience working with AWS and infrastructure as code
• Experience with testing practices and a strong eye for quality
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of software design, the software development process and lifecycle, including design patterns, code reviews, and dev-ops
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
• A strong team player with experience working in a collaborative Agile environment

Bonus skills and qualifications:

• Experience with mobile app development using React Native and Expo
