Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 05/20/2024 (Candidates who are available immediately will be considered for this role as this is a HIGH PRIORITY)Job Description:Responsible for the design development and hands-on installation of an assigned project in line with the technical design requirements.Responsible for the on-site execution of an integrated security solution, including ACS, CCTV, Intercom, ANPR etc. linked over a fiber network infrastructure including planning, scheduling, tracking, analysis and managing reports.Supervise, monitor and appraise the sub-contractor's construction & installation performance ensuring that works are completed on time and any necessary corrective actions are taken in such areas as safety, quality, planning and scheduling.Development and participation in the site QA plan ensuring that the highest standards are consistently maintained by the sub-contractor.Monitoring change control ensuring change requests are submitted and followed through in the correct and timely manner.Identification of Risks and Issues at an early stage, including them in the risk and issue log highlighting any potential impact.Development of a detailed schedule of work and where necessary highlighting critical resource requirements.Analysis of complex issues coordinating the resolution of any problems that arise, with limited supervision.Ensuring the correct permits (i.e. PTW) are in place prior to work commencing.Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, ensuring that the correct procedures are in place and being carried out always.Develop, execute and maintain technical submissions including HSE and Method Statements.Provide project related highlight and ad-hoc reports to the line management function on request.Communicate effectively and efficiently with the PM to anticipate/advise needs.Deputize for project team colleagues or line management when required.Ensure there is suitable hand-over and cover for your workload for times of planned absence.RequirementsOther RequirementsDegree / Diploma in Engineering from a reputable university.Minimum of 10 years relevant experience and comprehensive knowledge of low current systems including Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intercom, Gate barriers, Intruder Alarm, Network configuration etc.Minimum of 5 years leadership role experience.Proven experience in the system design and implementation of security solutions and techniques in a Commercial, Military or Law Enforcement Role.Extensive hands-on experience as a Project Installation Engineer in security systems.A thorough understanding of technical drawings, reviewing and commenting on design and sub-contractor submissions where applicable.The ability to lead and manage a fundamental part of an expeditionary project.In depth knowledge of security projects and processes from conception to delivery.Success in working to tight timelines and interfacing with suppliers.Reasonable degree of IT Literacy in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
