The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently execute projects as well as the willingness to develop a growing team.Furthermore, you will be highly experienced in technical mechanical engineering, have highly developed skills in designing piping, pressure vessels, tanks and be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, on small/medium size greenfield and brownfield projects.About the roleWe are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer, capable of working with a close-knit team of engineers, designers and project engineers to deliver projects to Verbrec's and clients' standards. As a professional engineer you will offer:Minimum 5 years' experience in the oil and gas industryRPEQ certification and CPEng (desirable)Diverse range of mechanical engineering skills, including design and operation of pipeline, pressure equipment, rotating equipment or tanksExperience to carry out mechanical engineering design and documentation from initiation through to construction stageExperience working in oil and gas facilities or similar manufacturing industriesExperience using AutoPIPE, AutoCAD or other design programsExperience generating engineering budget estimates and quotationsAbility to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlinesDegree or equivalent experience/qualification is mandatoryIf you are a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a passion for delivering engineering excellence and want to work in a collaborative team environment with varied clients and projects, apply today.The new Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
