Job Summary: The Post-Trade Application Team is responsible for the design, implementation and application support of HKEX's post-trade systems, including clearing and settlement, nominee and depository, collateral and risk management systems as well as our data warehouse platform for post-trade business. Job Duties: As System Development Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for application development and support for critical applications running under IBM mainframe platform. You will have the opportunity to work closely with different technical teams, vendors and business users for development and production support of post-trade systems. Besides, you may also be required to lead and participate in projects for new business initiatives or technology obsolescence on behalf of Post-Trade Application Team. Responsibilities:
- Perform business requirement analysis, resource estimation, system design, application development, testing, system rollout and documentation
- Design and develop systems with mainframe and integrate with other modern technologies or platforms
- Conduct quality assurance review on system design and project deliverables
- Collaborate with other IT teams, business users and vendors on testing and support activities during the project development
- Assist supervisor in managing project risks and implement mitigation measures accordingly
- Adhere to organization policies and standards for fulfillment of compliance requirements
- Coach and supervise developers
- Provide production support and resolve production incidents
- Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor
- Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years' system development and support experience
- Solid development experience in z/OS, DB2, COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve Plus, JCL, CA-7 and MQ
- With knowledge and experience in following aspect is an advantage - SWIFT platform support or Linux platform support
- Proficiency in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
- Possess project management skills and qualifications (e.g. PMP, CSM) is an advantage
- Experience in financial services industry or regulatory bodies is an added value
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
- Self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
