Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join our Planning and Budgeting team at the Hong Kong branch. This role is crucial in driving our financial planning processes and ensuring effective budget management across the organisation. Key Responsibilities - Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting, planning, and analysis. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives. - Monitor and report on budget performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. - Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. - Enhance budgeting tools and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. - Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification is a plus. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in budgeting or financial planning, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. - Japanese speaking is a must, minimum N1 level - Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling and forecasting techniques. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. - Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
