Accountant General

Flourish Holistic Services Pty Ltd, a provider of Allied Health Services for individuals enrolled in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and referred to us by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Transport Accident Commission (TAC), WorkSafe, and Workcover.We are currently hiring a skilled and motivated Accountant (General) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.Benefits Include:Company LaptopFull Time Leave EntitlementsKey Responsibility Area:Assisting in financial record keeping and financial activitiesPreparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsAssisting external auditor with the reports of management, investors, and regulatory authoritiesPreparing budget and costing monthly and analysing the sameProviding monthly forecasts to the managementComplying with the tax laws and regulations, filing tax returns, and calculating tax liabilitiesConducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and assisting in purchasing and selling of propertyAssisting external auditors with the audit process and providing proper documentationConducting internal auditsComplying with accounting standards, financial regulations, and industry-specific guidelinesMonitoring and categorizing expenses and tracking them for financial analysisAnalysing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunitiesReconciling of bank statementsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldProven experience as an AccountantStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingProficiency in Xero Accounting software and ExcelExcellent organizational and time management skillsDetail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlinesOther Requirements:Working with Children CheckEvidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)Police Check & International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)Annual Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 plus superannuation.Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 5.30pmAbility to commute/relocate:Tarneit, VIC 3029: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Flourish Holistic Services Pty Ltd is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment.
