L&D Specialist Abu Dhabi

As an L&D Specialist, you will work as a vital member of the L&D team, specifically responsible for designing, developing, and implementing global learning experiences. In this role, you will:

1. Assist in developing and communicating a substantive professional development curriculum.
2. Identify organizational and role-specific training needs and deliver programs that enhance the Company’s overall capability.
3. Project manage the development of individual digital and blended learning solutions, working with internal SMEs and external L&D developers on the creation of (e)Learning content.
4. Map out training plans and schedules while maintaining project documentation and course folders.
5. Conduct live classroom trainings and create exercises and activities to enhance the learning process.
6. Create and integrate interactive elements into eLearning courses, including graphics, audio, narrations, gamification, etc.
7. Translate business information and concepts into visually appealing, dynamic, and impactful learning content.
8. Integrate technology in traditional courses and provide instructional technology support.
9. Continuously improve and innovate e-Learning content through ongoing research and development.

1. BSC/BA in Education technology, instructional design.
2. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in L&D. Designing and delivering eLearning content is essential.
3. Knowledge of learning theories, instructional design, and evaluation models.
4. Ability to adopt a wide variety of approaches to learning and development, including social learning methods.
5. Solid knowledge of course development software (Articulate, Lectora, Adobe Captivate, iSpring, etc.) and at least one Learning Management System with proficiency in dealing with SCORM packages and xAPI integration.
6. Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
7. Lesson and curriculum planning skills with strong visualization skills.
8. Ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
9. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
10. Experience with delivering in-person and/or virtual classroom training is a must.
