Job Description: Oracle EBS R12 Functional Consultant (Service Request, Depot Repair, Field Service) Job Title: Oracle EBS R12 Functional Consultant Location: India Job Type: Contract Experience: 8+ years Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Functional Consultant with expertise in Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service modules for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of functional experience and a strong background in delivering successful Oracle EBS implementations, configuration, and support. This role requires collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement processes that drive business efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document functional requirements related to Oracle EBS R12 Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service modules. • Configuration & Setup: Configure Oracle EBS R12 modules according to business needs, including Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service. Ensure setups align with business processes and industry best practices. • Solution Design: Develop solution designs that meet business requirements, minimize gaps, and optimize Oracle EBS functionality in the Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service areas. • Gap Analysis & Documentation: Perform gap analysis between existing system capabilities and business needs, and create functional specification documents for system configurations and customizations. • Testing & Validation: Lead testing efforts, including creating test cases, conducting system and integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet functional requirements. • User Training & Support: Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions for end-users and support teams. Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot any issues that arise. • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure the smooth integration of functional solutions, customizations, and reporting needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones on time. • Enhancements & Upgrades: Participate in system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations to enhance the functionality and usability of Oracle EBS R12 modules. Required Qualifications: • Experience: o 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 with a focus on Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service modules. o Proven experience in at least [3] full lifecycle Oracle EBS implementations, specifically involving Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service. • Functional Expertise: o Strong understanding of Oracle EBS R12 modules, including configurations and setups for Service Request, Depot Repair, and Field Service. o Ability to perform functional gap analysis, design solutions, and create functional specifications. • Technical Skills: o Basic knowledge of SQL and reporting tools to assist with data extraction and validation. o Experience working with Oracle technical teams for customizations, interfaces, and data migrations. • Communication & Collaboration: o Excellent communication skills for interacting with business users and technical teams. o Strong documentation skills, including writing functional design documents, user guides, and training materials. Preferred Qualifications: • Oracle certifications in relevant EBS modules. • Experience with Oracle Cloud solutions and transition strategies from Oracle EBS R12. • Experience working in a fast-paced, contract-based role with multi-disciplinary teams.
