(PI: Dr. Wouter Hendrickx)As a Senior Computational Biologist, you willlead a dynamic team of researchers,collaborating closely with clinicians, biologists, data scientists, and omics core facilities. Your expertise will drive groundbreaking discoveries in genomics, transcriptomics, and other cancer omics within the context of pediatric solid tumors. If you're a dedicated team leader with a passion for advancing scientific knowledge, we encourage you to apply!Lead a team of three direct reports (2 of which are post-doc), two students, and one intern. Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve research goals. Experience dealing with corporate practice and bureaucracy is a plus.Applycomputational algorithms to analyze biological data sets . Specialize in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) analysis, spatial transcriptomics, Epigenetics, single-cell omics, and long-read cancer genomics. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and tools in the field.Contribute to multi-modal data analysis forpediatric solid tumors . Validate and interpret computational predictions.
