As a BU Manager, you are responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the designated area of responsibility of Alfa Laval Products and Services in accordance with the assigned targets and local sales company/divisional strategy and targets. You will lead, develop, and secure a high-performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture. Job Description
  • Define the business strategy and plan for assigned area of responsibility according to Central and Local Division Strategy, plan, and targets.
  • Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to achieve customer loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars.
  • Forecast sales and budget and monitor progress against objectives and financial targets to identify problem areas for performance improvement.
  • Work proactively and structured with the sales and business development to optimize the sales efficiency of the team.
  • Lead the sales team, providing direction and ensuring they perform according to the plan and sales process, focusing on lead to opportunity and opportunity to quote sub-process.
  • Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports to secure the development of relevant sales and product/application competencies.
  • Identify and nurture talent.
  • Work with Regional Teams.
Qualification & Experience Experience: We are looking for 15+ years of experience, including 5 years in a senior position handling business with P/L responsibility. Experience in handling high-speed separator and decanter applications in food and water products is required. Education: Mechanical or chemical engineering. A postgraduate degree in Business Administration will be an added advantage. Qualities such as being a go-getter, having a curious mind, being a dreamer, and having a strategic mindset are essential.
