The Role:
We are seeking a skilled PHP Software Engineer with experience in AWS and front-end technologies to help develop, maintain, and enhance web applications. As a key member of a close-knit development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance web solutions that meet the needs of clients globally.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, ensuring code quality and scalability.
- Integrate and manage AWS services to support application infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with PHP.
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
