BAT’s Digital Business Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a NPI Senior Deployment Manager in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the operational delivery and project management within the New Product Introduction (NPI) function operated by GBS. Also, team lead for NPI Manager (G34)/ Executive (G33). Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery of basic and complex projects, leading sophisticated projects independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide updates on new product introduction (NPI) readiness and align the team on daily direction.
  • Lead end-to-end NPI deployment projects based on key performance metrics.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans with input from functional experts and provide clear project status to the Product Development Team (PDT).
  • Facilitate decision-making for Commercial Business Partners and communicate NPI project costs, including tooling, trials, and warehouse management system (WMS) write-offs.
  • Apply tools like Z2 planning to reduce WMS write-offs and resolve project issues with stakeholder collaboration.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and maintain effective relationships with Commercial partners and the NPI Community.
  • Ensure compliance with internal regulations, participate in continuous improvement, and mentor team members to build capability.
What are we looking for?
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end processes for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • At least 6 years of experience in operational delivery, ideally in end markets or shared service centers.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience in Operations (manufacturing or supply chain) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, people management, and change management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and systems.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a changing business environment, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and disciplined in managing paperwork to ensure project success under tight timelines.
