Job Summary:

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

Knowledge of laundry operations and techniques, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding.

Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and their maintenance.

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads.

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.

Knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA regulations related to laundry operations.

Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established procedures.

Operate commercial laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines.

Inspect linens and clothing for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor.

Follow proper handling and storage procedures for clean and soiled linens.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including keeping the machines and work surfaces clean.

Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels of laundry supplies and notifying the supervisor when replenishment is needed.

Handle guest laundry requests and ensure timely delivery of clean and pressed clothing.

Assist with the collection and distribution of linens to various departments within the hotel.

Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and following OSHA regulations.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient and smooth laundry operations.

Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing any concerns or requests related to laundry services.

Work Hours: 8 Hours a Day
