  • The Senior Manager District Services is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of district-level properties, including residential areas. This role involves strategic planning, infrastructure management, and ensuring the effective delivery of services across the district. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in municipal operations, corporate services, and infrastructure management, with a focus on process excellence and customer-centric service delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and operations of district-level properties, including residential areas, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for district infrastructure and property management to support sustainable community growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals in the management of corporate services, asset management, and community services.
  • Ensure compliance with municipal policies, procedures, and regulations, promoting best practices in district management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance district services and infrastructure development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of district services, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting for district operations, ensuring accountability and transparency.
  • Represent the district in negotiations and strategic planning sessions with government officials, investors, and community leaders.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in senior management roles within municipal operations, infrastructure management, or corporate services.
  • Strong knowledge of district-level property management, including residential services.
  • Proven track record of leading and implementing strategic initiatives in corporate efficiency, asset management, and community services.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large budgets and financial reporting within a municipal or corporate environment.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field; advanced certifications in Local Government Management (CLGM) or Lean Six Sigma preferred. COMMUNICATION - MAIN STAKEHOLDERS #J-18808-Ljbffr
