Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategically manage and guide the logistics operations for the Brigade and Battalion Headquarters, ensuring compliance with DoD and Army supply policies.
- Maintain an active Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) account and understand how to read and request changes to the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE).
- Assist the Property Book Officer (PBO) in ensuring 100% accountability of equipment, making sure all authorized equipment is on hand according to MTOE/TDA.
- Manage excess equipment and redistribute it throughout the Brigade, and monitor unit supply personnel actions in the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
- Collect and maintain the 160th Signal Brigade property book and hand receipts using GCSS-Army, LOGTAADS, MTOE and TDA, AESIP, AESIP LMR, Common Table of Allowances (CTA), and SB 700-20.
- Track transportation shipments in AESIP Parts Tracker and take action to expedite delivery when required by the Government.
- Prepare Transportation Control and Movement Documents (TCMD) and load plans, and ship government equipment, supplies, and material via various approved methods.
- Support the collection of reports on all equipment within the 160th Signal Brigade and coordinate with subordinate units to ensure proper reporting of Modified Work Orders (MWO).
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active SECRET clearance.
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
- Certifications: 40-hour Property Book and Maintenance certifications via GCSS-Army Training and Certification (GTRAC).
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience; PhD with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
