We hope that you will share this mission with us.As the Marketing Lead, Travel Vaccines, you will spearhead the development and implementation of Bavarian Nordic's portfolio strategy for travel health vaccines. Your role encompasses comprehensive oversight of product marketing for rabies, typhoid, and cholera as well as preparing for the Chikungunya vaccine launch within the Canadian organization. Primary responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of the travel health marketing plan, serving as a pivotal partner to Sales, ensuring consistency in portfolio and brand-level messaging, compliance with promotional activities, and gathering insights for the enhancement or establishment of new marketing programs. This role will also have a dotted line to the US Marketing team to achieve Bavarian Nordic's goals.Your ResponsibilitiesLeading the strategic planning and brand planning processes for the travel health portfolio.Developing and aligning strategic imperatives and key programs with cross-functional partners to maximize commercial opportunities for RabAvert, Vivotif, and Vaxchora.Identifying potential strategic partnerships, including key accounts, stakeholder groups, and advocacy initiatives related to travel health leadership.Collaborating with partners to develop and execute joint plans to achieve portfolio and brand objectives.Leading the development of a communications strategy and cross-functional activity plan for target segments/customers, covering private-commercial and public-government channels as necessary.Developing and overseeing the execution of marketing tactics across all channels and media, ensuring approval through appropriate copy-clearance committees and adherence to SOPs on promotional materials.Managing relationships with advertising agencies, providing feedback on copy and creatives consistent with the brand promise and strategy.Monitoring short- and long-term market trends affecting the brand and continuously identifying opportunities and gaps to inform strategic and tactical brand plans.Developing KPIs and measuring the impact of programs on revenue (ROI) and other objectives.Collaborating with the Sales Team to optimize sales tools and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Driving trade show and congress execution, collaborating with the sales team and external agencies on booth development, logistics, key customer events, symposiums, product presentations, etc.Collaborating with the sales team to monitor competitive intelligence and competitor activities, making appropriate recommendations as needed.Supporting other brands in the portfolio and related marketing tasks and activities as required.Skills & RequirementsBachelor's Degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or Business/Marketing.At least 7 years working experience in Commercial in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry; 5 years working experience in Marketing or Sales roles.Vaccines marketing, sales, sales training, sales operations experience preferred.Healthcare consulting, market access, and sales operations experience a plus.Willingness to travel, as needed.Location: Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.We offer a chance to work in an international company with unique technology and a dedicated workforce.
