The German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the raw materials and chemical industry (BG RCI) is part of the German social insurance system. We are a statutory accident insurance institution and are responsible for around 37,000 member companies nationwide, which employ around 1.6 million people. We advise and support our member companies in all matters relating to occupational health and safety. In the event of an accident at work or an occupational illness, we help the insured persons with comprehensive medical treatment and rehabilitation and thus contribute to the best possible reintegration into working life and life in the community. For our Membership and Contributions department (MuB), we are looking for the following at the Bochum, Heidelberg, Mainz or Langenhagen location as soon as possible

a clerk (m/f/d) for specialist tests and IT coordination

The area of responsibility includes:
  • to participate in the introduction and further development of phoenics. specialist applications in the MuB area (acceptance and creation of test scenarios as well as the execution of specialist tests),
  • to support the uniform process and task management in the MuB department with an impact on the processes of adjacent areas such as rehabilitation/services, prevention, recourse, finance and ensuring compliance with the uniform basic procedural organization,
  • analyse and prioritize technical IT requirements from other clients or departments and develop change requests
  • to represent the MuB department with voting rights in the BG Phoenics working groups with the aim of further developing the standard software developed via BG Phoenics at BG RCI,
  • to participate in BG RCI-internal working groups for the further development of the software for the MuB department
  • to create and maintain the technical organizational model and the decentralized basic data of the MuB department
  • to advise quality assurance, error management and processing in finding solutions and to process fault reports,
  • to work on requirements and release management,
  • test and approve new product versions,
  • to conduct phoenics. training courses for end users of the MuB department and
  • to carry out special tasks of the department management as instructed.
We require these qualifications:
  • A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of computer science, business informatics (Bachelor's degree, FH diploma), a Bachelor's degree in social insurance, the FPO examination or an equivalent examination qualification (FH diploma or degree in another accredited Bachelor's degree program)
  • or successfully completed training in a profession relevant to the job and at least three years of professional experience in the profession you have learned or a comparable profession
  • or at least three years of professional experience in activities of the higher administrative service, preferably in the field of membership and contributions or in the field of information technology,
  • sound knowledge of phoenics,
  • strong analytical judgment and thinking skills,
  • an independent, planned and goal-oriented approach to tasks,
  • the pronounced ability to recognize and solve problems independently
  • a friendly and confident manner as well as communication skills and an appreciative approach to those involved, even in difficult situations,
  • Ability to work in a team and cooperate,
  • the ability to make decisions within the scope of the assigned competencies and taking into account economic efficiency
  • a sound knowledge of standard information and communication technology systems (MS Office),
  • Knowledge in the optimization of existing and new processes and their integration into a holistic IT application,
  • Knowledge of statutory accident insurance law with special legal provisions for accident insurance institutions and their respective statutes
  • willingness to expand knowledge and skills,
  • the willingness to travel for one or more days.
