Oilfield Survey Crew Chief - Whitecourt/Fox Creek
who, ideally, has experience in the Oilfield Survey sector and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.
The Work:
Survey wellsites, pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline integrity, and construction projects throughout Western Canada
Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days
Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
Follow safety protocol
Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
Prepare clear, concise and accurate field notes, records and calculations
What you bring to the table:
Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
Desire for excellence in all that you do.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to liaise with clients
Creativity
A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics
Experience leading an oilfield survey crew
Experience performing legal surveys in the Alberta Township System
Experience working on both industrial construction sites and remote bush conditions
Experience with drones is an asset.
