Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to support the System team to adapt, implement, mature, and continuously innovate various aspects of the System Safety engineering process.
As part of the functional safety office, knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety or a similar standard would be appreciated.
You will establish close collaboration and build trusting relationships with senior leaders from cross-functional teams including hardware, software, vehicle engineering, operations, human factors, program management office, legal, and policy.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning of multiple workstreams necessary for the Safety Case at each project milestone.
Oversee the planning and execution of system-level hazard analysis, ensuring traceability of potential safety issues throughout the safety architecture, requirements, implementation, verification, and validation, leading to a comprehensive and closed-loop safety case.
Lead the Risk Management Program across various milestones, monitoring all potential safety issues and driving them to resolution.
Represent the System Safety team during key program review meetings.
Ensure coordination among engineering teams, clarify priorities, and ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of corporate milestones.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in automotive engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
5+ years experience in program management in automotive, aerospace or other relevant industries.
Experience working at system process level.
Familiar with at least one of these standards: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, ISO 21448.
