This student role offers an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing technical and project support to Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams within the Midstream network (HMGP). The successful candidate will work closely with Reliability and Maintenance Engineers to investigate electrical, instrumentation, and controls challenges, develop solutions, and execute projects that enhance the functionality and reliability of mechanical and electrical assets. Possible placement could include: Reliability & Integrity - Operations & Maintenance | Pipelines Operations DepartmentProject Engineering | Pipelines Operations Department Please note this role requires the successful candidate to reside or be willing to relocate to Lloydminster for the duration of the work term. What you'll do Work in collaboration with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to provide technical solutions for optimization and cost savings.Support the execution of small projects aimed at improving safety, reliability, and efficiency within the Midstream network.Focus on providing equipment-related solutions and developing methods to improve equipment life-cycle, including bad actor analysis.Provide technical support for preventative and condition-based maintenance programs. Qualifications Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).Available to begin work in May 2025.Experience with ETAP or ParcView is considered an asset. Education Must be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
