Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) team at a leading hospital in Beverly, MA. You’ll be expected to manage a variety of cases, including post-surgical and chronically ill patients, with a focus on recovery and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med-Surg unit
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
3. Administer medications, IVs, and treatments while closely monitoring patient responses
4. Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, and patients' families regarding care plans
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
6. Utilize evidence-based practices to optimize patient recovery and safety

Qualifications

1. Active RN license in Massachusetts
2. BLS certification required
3. Minimum of 1-2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
4. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
