As Workflow Engineer, you will be responsible for ongoing change and development for the workflow solutions and provide technology oversight to different business units like Retail Banking, Business Banking, etc. You also have the opportunity to provide your technical expertise to help strengthen the standards of the team that spans across multiple geographies.   • Can provide advanced technical knowledge and experience to assist in resolving technology issues
  • Have understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver best business outcomes
  • Can provide consultancy across projects and delivery teams and contribute to delivery planning with expert advice
  • Can follow best practices and industry standards in the team while fine tuning those standards to fit the CBA standards.
  • Can drive the development of strategic programs of work, including proof of concept developments.
  • Manage a team of talented engineers as a people leader.
  • Can take responsibility for nominated technical assets related to areas of expertise including roadmaps and technical direction
Technical Skills We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these, or a willing to learn these skillsets (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team!
  • Pega CLSA Certification – Must Have.
  • Excellent Experience in designing and developing Pega and workflow applications
  • Excellent knowledge of integrations patterns, design and implementation
  • Various hosting patterns like Pega SaaS, AWS, Azure.
  • Cloud domain knowledge - AWS Certification, Nice to have.
  • Designing, documenting and presenting formal solution designs
  • Agile & Scrum Knowledge
  • Proficient at SQL and working with other larger volume in data
  • Knowledge of Standard industry tools for CI/CD pipeline
  • Experience with debugging and tuning performance issues
  • Excellent understanding of micro services architecture, API gateways and restful API design patterns
  • Sound grasp of data integrity, system security, and unit testing
  • Sound grasp of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), AWS cloud hosting, Cloud cost optimisations
  • Understanding of monitoring tools and event based application models with Kafka
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline – Jenkins, Github Actions
  • Knowledge of Devops practices – composing Yaml pipelines, Infrastructure as code

  • Prioritise the work the engineers would be productive and autonomous.
  • An evangelist for engineering principles, practices and standards
  • Be responsible for the strategic technology direction for the team, including managing code
  • Manage workforce planning and staff retention, cultivating a safe and trusted working environment
  • You are able to manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams. Along with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Champion thought leadership for the process architecture and develop options for improving and updating current capability.
  • Act as an escalation, advice, and decision-making point for Pega Case Management.
  • Review and contribute to reference architecture and platform initiative involving workflow.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, directions, and best practices.
  • Provide specialised expertise and development using Java, JEE and Pega Platform
  • Analysing systems to provide system support and recommendations for development.
  • Expert troubleshooting of implementation, environment and deployment issues.
  • Establish new ways of working and promote DevOps culture of CI/CD pipelines and Automation supported by world-class tools
  • Have expertise in managing any workflow based technical environments (preferably Pega)
  • Expertise to define and effectively communicate a long-term technical vision
