  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated network issues from Level 1 support. Conduct in-depth analysis and troubleshooting of complex network problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor and support access points, switches, WAN appliances, and internet circuits across globally, overseeing network performance and capacity utilizing bandwidth, latency, CRC errors, drops, uptime, and QoS.
  • Utilize advanced proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Datadog.
  • Configure and update SNMP traps and MIB definitions on appliances, analyze NetFlow data for application monitoring, and perform iOS upgrades on L3 and L2 appliances.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of a wide range of network protocols including VLAN, STP, Trunks, Dot1x, 802.11, BGP, and OSPF.
  • Possess expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network solutions from diverse vendors including Cisco (Meraki, Catalyst, Viptella, Nexus), Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZCC, ZDX), Palo Alto, Check Point, DigiCert, and domain registrars.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Level 1 support engineers, assisting with skill development and knowledge transfer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network upgrades, configurations, and enhancements.
  • Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our network infrastructure. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network emergencies outside of regular business hours.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, technical support, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, SD-WAN, and SASE.
  • Good to have someone with knowledge working on Palo, Zscaler and Cisco catalyst
  • Hands-on experience with SASE solutions and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
