Geologist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all disciplines of the project team members in Field Development along with the Drilling Department.
• Provide geological support to well drilling operations.
• Prepare End of Well reports.
• Assist in preparing geological well proposals.
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for meetings with partners.
• Utilize 3D geological models in evaluating well data.
• Assist in planning well trajectories.
• Compile daily wellsite reports.
• Prepare well geological prognosis proposals.
• Prepare presentation materials utilizing 3D geological model and well log data.
• Provide geological input into pre-drill proposals and post-drill well reports.
• Demonstrate good working knowledge in geo-modeling software.

• Minimum relevant Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in wellsite geologist operations.
• Experience in preparing geological cross-sections and maps.
• Good working understanding of relevant computer applications, including Petrel.
• Familiarity with building 3D geological models is an added value.
