Your Company Glasshouse Recruitment has partnered with a national cost consultancy firm that holds a strong presence in the construction industry. Being an industry expert in construction cost services, they operate on a national capacity and have offices in both the South and North Island, which gives them a great reach of supporting projects in many diverse NZ based locations. Your New Role Due to their business going through organic growth, they are wanting to invest in engaging an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their enthusiastic team and contribute towards their current and upcoming projects. Our client highly invests in their people and ensures that they are provided with adequate resources and training that allows them to excel in their career. You will be exposed to a variety of commercial and residential projects across NZ and being mentored by an experienced Quantity Surveying team and first hand by their Directors. What you Need to Succeed

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or equivalent
• Strong tendering background & measuring background under NZS4202
• Minimum 3 years Construction QS experience
• A working knowledge of NZ Building Code and NZ Standards
• Experience working on construction projects in NZ
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to forge key relationships with clients, key stakeholders & subcontractors
• Have excellent communication skills both written/oral
• An enthusiastic and positive work ethic
